Mutual agreement is mandatory. S&M needs trust. Take alarm signals seriously! The sub (also slave, submissive partner) can withdraw his agreement at any time. Agree in advance on a signal (word or gesture) that will clearly end the session! (No is often unsuitable here, agree something else). Inform yourself as a beginner about possible risks. Alcohol and drugs can affect the realistic assessment of the situation and your limits.
Hitting: Only use hitting tools on ONE sub and disinfect it thoroughly before you work on the next one. Bleeding injuries carry an increased risk of hepatitis B/C infection. If possible, avoid splitting nipple clamps or ensure thorough disinfection.
Wax: Approach the pain threshold carefully. Liquid wax on mucous membranes, ears, eyes and wounds, increases the risk of injury. Injuries increase the risk of infection with HIV, hepatitis C and STl’s. Note that beeswax becomes hotter than others.
Body fluids: Contact of semen and blood on wounds or mucous membranes carries a risk of HIV and HEP C infection.
